        "content": "<p>RI cartoonists win<\/p>\n<p>TOKYO (Antara): Five Indonesian cartoonists have won three<br>\nprizes at 21st Yomiuri International Cartoon Contest held by<br>\nJapan's leading newspaper, Yomiuri Shimbun.<\/p>\n<p>Zainal Abidin of Kendal, Central Java province, has won the<br>\nSpecial Prize along with cartoonists from the United States,<br>\nChina and Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Another cartoonist from Kendal, Mohammad Muslih, has earned<br>\nthe Excellent Prize, while three other cartoonists, Koestana and<br>\nJitet of Semarang, Central Java, and Misri, also from Kendal,<br>\nhave been awarded Honorable Mention each.<\/p>\n<p>The prizes were awarded Friday.<\/p>\n<p>As many as 9,012 works by 4,073 cartoonists from 68 countries<br>\nwere entered in this contest, which was divided into the general<br>\nand junior categories.<\/p>\n<p>In the general category, the prizes awarded are the Grand<br>\nPrize, the Golden Prize, the Golden Prize for Free Event, the<br>\nSpecial Prize, the Excellent Prize, Honorable Mention and<br>\nCitation.<\/p>\n<p>Alfons Vof of Belgium has been awarded the Golden Prize,<br>\ntaking home two million yen.<\/p>",
