RI aims for two golds in physics contest<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Indonesia is banking on the Asian champions in its
\nbid to bag two gold medals in the 36th Physics Olympiad in
\nSalamanca, Spain.<\/p>\n
Andika Putra of Sutomo senior high school in Medan,
\nPurnawirman of the SMAN 1 state senior high school in Pekanbaru,
\nAli Sucipto of Xaverius I senior high school in Palembang and
\nMichael Ardian of Regina Pacis senior high school in Bogor formed
\nthe backbone of the team following their win in the Asian Physics
\nOlympiad in the Riau capital of Pekanbaru in April. Ario Prabowo
\nof Taruna Nusantara senior high school in Magelang has been
\npicked for the world competition after winning a bronze in the
\nAsian meet.<\/p>\n
The team left the country on Saturday for the competition,
\nwhich will run from July 3 through July 12.<\/p>\n
The Ministry of National Education said it was funding the
