Whether you realize it or not, these<br>\nissues are increasingly destroying many aspects of life in our<br>\nnation.<\/p>\n<p>What would happen if a senior official placed his family<br>\nmembers or relatives in a company? It would likely develop into<br>\ncorrupt, collusive and nepotistic practices.<\/p>\n<p>As long as our legal system remains unchanged, we cannot<br>\nexpect the situation to improve much. The public has suggested<br>\nmany ideas about how to eradicate the practices but the<br>\ngovernment has not been quick enough to respond. The officials<br>\nconcerned are obviously afraid that their corruption cases will<br>\nbe exposed.<\/p>\n<p>Reversing the burden of proof, one of the suggestions made by<br>\nthe community, is still effective in some developed countries.<\/p>\n<p>To apply such a principle would not be burdensome in terms of<br>\ncost and energy.
