The umrah travel operator\nhas reportedly been experiencing financial problems since 2023.<\/p>\n<p>This was disclosed by the Director of General Criminal Investigation\nat Polda Metro Jaya, Senior Commissioner Iman Imanudin, during a public\nhearing with Commission III of the House of Representatives and\nrepresentatives of Hanania Travel victims at the Parliament Complex in\nSenayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday, 18 June 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also inform the leadership that we have found facts based on the\ninvestigation or the suspect\u2019s examination report that this problem\nactually began to emerge in 2023,\u201d Iman said.<\/p>\n<p>Iman revealed that Hanania Travel frequently employed a \u2018robbing\nPeter to pay Paul\u2019 scheme to finance its operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo since 2023, the management of PT Hasanah Tama Internasional or\nHanania Group has been experiencing payment problems, whether for\ntickets, hotels, or mutawif there.
