For echelon I bureaucrats (e.g.<br>\nresearchers\/rectors) the age is 65, for echelon II (e.g.<br>\nteachers\/lecturers) 60 and for echelons III and IV (ordinary<br>\nstaff) 56.<\/p>\n<p>I would like to propose that the three categories be reduced<br>\nto two, comprising echelon I personnel at the age of 65 and<br>\nechelons II, III and IV at 60. This is meant to avoid social envy<br>\namong civil servants, while the population's life expectancy<br>\nincreases.<\/p>\n<p>At 56, civil servants still have the capacity to perform their<br>\nrespective duties.
