        "content": "<p>Director General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) at\nthe Ministry of Home Affairs, Teguh Setyabudi, visited Flores Island,\nEast Nusa Tenggara Province, on Monday (24\/8\/2026). The four-day working\nvisit until Thursday (27\/8\/2026) was carried out on the direct orders of\nHome Affairs Minister M. Tito Karnavian to restore civil registration\nservices that were paralysed by a magnitude 7.7 earthquake.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arriving in Ngada Regency, Teguh immediately held a coordination\nmeeting with Regent Raymundus Bena and Director of Population\nAdministration Information Management Muhammad Nuh Al Azhar, who had\narrived earlier at the disaster site. Teguh stated that the main focus\nof the Ministry of Home Affairs joint team\u2019s arrival was to ensure that\nthe civil rights of earthquake-affected residents are not neglected amid\nthe emergency situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis earthquake not only damaged homes but also destroyed important\ndocuments such as electronic KTPs, family cards, and birth certificates\nbelonging to residents.
