Irrespective of the positive and negative aspects of the new
\nCabinet, the long-awaited solution to a puzzle has finally come
\nout. In fact, ordinary people do not care who is included in the
\nCabinet. Their only concern is that they can enjoy security and
\nprosperity.<\/p>\n
So, those making a commotion about this matter must be people
\nwho failed to get enlisted into the Cabinet and, owing to their
\nfat pockets, were able to entice certain groups into action.<\/p>\n
Most Indonesians are now experiencing crises in political,
\neconomic and security sectors. Therefore, they pin great hopes on
\nMr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (coordinating minister for
\npolitical, social and security affairs) and Mr. Rizal Ramli
\n(coordinating minister for the economy). The years that Mr.
\nBambang previously spent as the military's chief of staff of
\nsociopolitical affairs and as a territorial chief of staff and
\nthe activities carried out by Mr. Rizal Ramli in the Advisory
\nGroup on Economic Industry and Trade (ECONIT) will be sufficient
\nassets for them to be able to coordinate the ministers to ensure
\nthat they will be able to work toward solving the ongoing crises.
\nLeave behind personal and group interests, either within or
\nwithout the Cabinet.<\/p>\n
Gus Dur made the right choice when appointing these two
\ngentlemen in their present posts. It is also expected that they
\nwill be able to bear the responsibility and perform their tasks
\nwell in the interest of the nation.<\/p>\n
