Much has to be done to solve the problem of the frequent
\nstudent brawls in Jakarta. I think the Ministry of Education and
\nCulture should improve the school curriculum.<\/p>\n
Young people are energetic, emotional and adventurous and
\nfailure to channel these youthful qualities can lead to
\nanarchism, frustration and even crime. Juvenile delinquency can
\nbe solved through betterment of educational activities,
\nenhancement of sportsmanship as well as mental and physical
\ninnovation.<\/p>\n
If additional hours for sports are unlikely because of
\nconstraints of facilities, then the students should be allowed to
\nhave some business-like activities which have recreational
\nsignificance. Teenagers are productive in nature, so they should
\nbe directed in a such a way that they learn how to manage a
\ncertain type of business fairly and be competitive.<\/p>\n
For example, cooperatives are a school subject that can be
\npracticed in real life. The school can send them to shops,
\ncompanies or government institutions for training. By so doing
\nthe students will gain practical knowledge on how to manage a
\ncooperative which will be useful for their future.<\/p>\n
The most important thing for the students is that they should
\nbe taught to work hard to achieve some goal instead of resorting
\nto negative shortcuts. The present tycoons were at one time hard
\nworking youngsters, especially in the business sector. Youngsters
\nshould start loving entrepreneurship which call for hard work and
\nsportsmanship. We should possess quality human resource if we
\nwant to be successful in this era of globalization.<\/p>\n
