Kompas.com observed residents\nlining up neatly in the balai warga\u2019s courtyard area behind barrier\nropes.<\/p>\n
Most of those arriving were housewives carrying coupons to redeem the\ncheaper sembako package. Some who had already received their packages\nwere seen carrying orange shopping bags containing essential goods.<\/p>\n
One resident, Usnaini, 54, said the programme was helpful because the\nsembako package offered was cheaper than market prices. \u2018The price is\nmuch cheaper. The queue is also quick,\u2019 Usnaini said.<\/p>\n
Gubernur DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung also visited the distribution of\nthe cheap sembako.<\/p>\n
