        "content": "<p>The Tambora Police precinct successfully solved a motorcycle theft\ncase belonging to a resident named Tedy Wijojo (55) in Penjaringan,\nNorth Jakarta. The stolen motorcycle was recovered by officers.<\/p>\n<p>The theft occurred on Monday (23\/2\/2026), at around 4:30 PM. The\nvictim initially parked his vehicle in front of his house, then went\ninside to get something.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, when he came back out, his beloved motorcycle was no longer\nthere. Efforts to search around the area were unsuccessful,\u201d said\nTambora Police Chief AKP Wahyu Hidayat in a statement to reporters on\nThursday (26\/2).<\/p>\n<p>Wahyu explained that the motorcycle was then found on Tuesday (24\/2),\nat around 7:00 AM, on Jalan Terate Gang II, Tambora, West Jakarta. The\ndiscovery began when a team from the Tambora Police precinct conducted a\nroutine patrol.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficers found a motorcycle parked suspiciously on Jalan Terate Gang\nII, Jembatan Lima Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta. After\ncoordinating with the local community leader and asking residents\naround, no one recognized the vehicle,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>The motorcycle was then secured at the Tambora Police precinct, and\nthe license plate number was checked through the Samsat (vehicle\nregistration office). The results revealed the identity of the vehicle\nowner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficers immediately contacted Tedy (the victim) to come and bring\nproof of ownership in the form of a vehicle registration certificate\n(BPKB), vehicle registration (STNK), and vehicle keys. After\nverification, the motorcycle was officially returned to its owner,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Wahyu also urged the public to increase their vigilance against\nmotorcycle theft. Residents are advised to always use double locks or\nadditional locks when parking their vehicles, both at home and in public\nplaces.<\/p>\n<p>The motorcycle owner, Tedy, expressed his gratitude to the Tambora\nPolice precinct. He said he did not expect his motorcycle to be found so\nquickly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to thank the Tambora Police precinct, especially the\nCriminal Investigation Unit, for finding my vehicle.
