Resettlement of Ambon population<\/p>\n

Geographically located on a small island, the city of Ambon is
\ndifferent from other provincial capitals because, generally, they
\nare located on big islands and have direct land communication.<\/p>\n
I am of the opinion that as a consequence of the increase in
\nAmbon's population as well as the difficulty in getting a job on
\nthis small island, the population must be feeling sort of
\nsuffocated because of a lack of fresh air. Accordingly, to
\nescape, the people living in Ambon have been fighting each other.
\nThis is a possibility, and the escape could have been aimed at
\navoiding settling the real problems of Ambon's society.<\/p>\n
To put an end to the current conflicts as well as unrest, I'd
\nlike to suggest to all parties that they organize a mass
\nresettlement program, especially for the young generation. As I
\ndon't think the government can afford the program, would it be
\nbetter if a corporate body, managed by recommended figures from
\nAmbon plus certain national figures, be established, to make the
\nmass resettlement come true? Contributions from all Indonesians
\nas well as the international community would, of course, be
\nappreciated. Concerning where to relocate them, I think it has to
\nbe somewhere outside the province of Maluku, and the two
\nconflicting parties would have to be deployed in two different
\nlocations, simply to prevent a repetition of the conflicts.<\/p>\n
