Dental and oral care services, including dental scaling or\ntartar cleaning, are included in the benefits covered by the National\nHealth Insurance (JKN) programme.<\/p>\n<p>Dental scaling is a non-surgical procedure performed using an\nultrasonic scaler to remove plaque and tartar adhering to the tooth\nsurface and gum line.
