        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources,\nBahlil Lahadalia, reported to President Prabowo Subianto regarding the\nresults of organising mining business permits (IUP) in forest areas.\nThis report follows up on Prabowo\u2019s instructions in a previous meeting,\nwhich emphasised the importance of regulating mining permits in forest\nareas. Bahlil stated that he has completed the evaluation of several\nIUPs located in various categories of forest areas. \u201cThere are those in\nprotected forests, in conservation forests, then in nature reserves, and\nseveral IUPs within forest areas; we also reported this to the President\nearlier, as I was given one week. One week means last week and this\nweek,\u201d Bahlil said at the Palace in Jakarta on Thursday (16\/4\/2026).
