        "content": "<p>Istanbul (ANTARA) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US\nSenator Lindsey Graham, who has passed away, secretly conspired to\ndiscredit the International Criminal Court (ICC) ahead of the 2024 US\ngeneral election, according to a report by The New York Times on\nWednesday (29\/7).<\/p>\n<p>Recordings obtained by British director Alex Holder revealed that\nNetanyahu requested a bipartisan US letter from the Republican and\nDemocratic parties to protest the ICC arrest warrant against him.<\/p>\n<p>The leader of the Israeli Zionist regime suggested that they exploit\nthe allegations of sexual harassment against ICC prosecutor Karim Khan\nto \u201ctaint\u201d the institution.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, on Friday (24\/7), ICC member states agreed to remove Karim\nKhan from his position over the sexual harassment allegations. Khan has\nconsistently denied the accusations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe got them both,\u201d Graham told Netanyahu.<\/p>\n<p>Graham then asked Netanyahu to personally thank the Democratic\nsenator and to convey a commitment to normalising relations between\nIsrael and Saudi Arabia as an incentive for them to continue supporting\nhim.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the bipartisan letter released on 1 November 2024 raised\nthe sexual harassment allegations against Karim Khan and accused the ICC\nof failing to comply with the law by cancelling a meeting with Israeli\nofficials before filing the arrest warrant.<\/p>\n<p>In the same month, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and\nformer defence official of the Zionist regime, Yoav Gallant, over\nalleged war crimes in the Gaza Strip, which have resulted in more than\n73,000 deaths.<\/p>\n<p>Source: Anadolu<\/p>",
