        "content": "<p>Renault in Malaysia<\/p>\n<p>PARIS (AFP): Renault has signed an agreement with Malaysian<br>\ncompany Inokom for the production in Malaysia of a commercial<br>\nvehicle based on the Traffic van, Renault said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement, which was signed on Friday, allows Inokom a<br>\nlicense under royalty to manufacture variations of the vehicle<br>\npowered by petrol or diesel engines.<\/p>\n<p>Inokom is to produce 5,000 vehicles per year. Some of the<br>\nparts are to be manufactured locally and some are to be provided<br>\nby Renault. The vehicle is to be sold with the name Inokom.<\/p>\n<p>A factory is being built 400 kilometers (250 miles) from Kuala<br>\nLumpur for completion at the end of 1996.<\/p>\n<p>A Malaysian company, Quasar Carriage, has also signed the<br>\nagreement.
