        "content": "<p>Remains of U.S. woman unearthed<\/p>\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR (AFP): An American woman whose remains were<br>\nunearthed on Friday in Malaysia is believed to have been the<br>\nvictim of a ritual murder carried out to obtain lottery numbers,<br>\npolice say.<\/p>\n<p>Police quoted by Sunday newspapers said the remains were<br>\nbelieved to be those of Carolyn Jamica Noraini Abdullah, 35.<br>\nThe mother of three, who was married to a local doctor, went<br>\nmissing in November 1999.<\/p>\n<p>Reports said her husband had identified some clothing found in<br>\nthe shallow grave in an oil palm plantation at Sungai Siput in<br>\nthe northwestern state of Perak.<\/p>\n<p>Zuber Shariff, the state detective chief, said a 30-year-old<br>\nsuspect, who was arrested last Thursday following a tip-off, led<br>\npolice to the grave.<\/p>\n<p>He said one other suspect was serving a six-year jail sentence<br>\nfor a firearms offense and police would interview him soon. The<br>\nother suspect died in a road accident early this year.<\/p>",
