PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), or KAI, Daop 9 Jember, has\nreported positive developments regarding the implementation of its 30%\ndiscounted train ticket programme. The remaining quota of Lebaran\ndiscounted tickets is 4,841 seats.<\/p>\n
Manager of Law and Public Relations for Daop 9 Jember, Cahyo\nWidiantoro, stated that this government-initiated programme continues to\nshow a significant increase in public interest in the Tapal Kuda region.\nAccording to him, KAI\u2019s full support for this government policy has\nproven effective in encouraging public mobility through safe,\ncomfortable, and punctual public transportation.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince the official launch of this programme, we have seen tremendous\nenthusiasm from customers. This is a continuation of our commitment to\nsupporting the national economic stimulus, where long-distance train\ntravel is now much more affordable for people in the KAI Daop 9 Jember\narea,\u201d said Cahyo in a written statement on Wednesday, February 25,\n2026.<\/p>\n
To date, data shows that this 30% discount programme is in high\ndemand. Of the total 28,032 seats allocated specifically for this\nprogramme, as many as 28,754 tickets have been sold. The high number of\nsales, exceeding the initial seat allocation, is due to the presence of\npartial passengers, namely passengers who board and disembark at\nintermediate stations dynamically within a single journey.<\/p>\n
Cahyo added that currently, the remaining available seats for the\ndiscount programme are only 4,841. As a reminder to the public, this 30%\ndiscount programme applies to the departure period of March 14 \u2013 29,\n2026.<\/p>\n
The list of commercial trains in Daop 9 Jember that are included in\nthis programme is: KA Blambangan Ekspres (Ketapang \u2013 Pasarsenen round\ntrip), KA Ranggajati (Jember \u2013 Cirebon round trip), KA Mutiara Timur\n(Ketapang \u2013 Surabaya Pasarturi round trip), KA Ijen Ekspres (Ketapang \u2013\nMalang round trip), and KA Logawa (Ketapang \u2013 Purwokerto round\ntrip).<\/p>\n
The public still has the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets\nuntil March 29, 2026, as long as the quota is available, through various\nofficial channels such as the Access by KAI application, the kai.id\nwebsite, station ticket counters, or other official sales partners.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe urge the public to make reservations immediately and not delay\nuntil close to the departure schedule. Given the increasingly limited\nremaining quota, early travel planning is highly recommended to get the\ndesired schedule with this stimulus fare,\u201d Cahyo concluded.<\/p>\n
