        "content": "<p>Relatives frustrated with investigation<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (AP): Nearly one year after a Singapore plane<br>\nmysteriously plunged from the Indonesian sky, relatives of the<br>\nvictims expressed frustration and anger at a memorial service on<br>\nSunday over the lack of progress in the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Silk Air flight MI185 crashed into the Sumatran jungle on Dec.<br>\n19, 1997, killing all 104 passengers and crew on board the Boeing<br>\n737-300 airplane.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the victims were Singaporeans and Indonesians, though<br>\nAmericans, Japanese, Malaysians, New Zealanders, Germans, French,<br>\nan Australian, a Taiwanese and an Indian also perished.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian authorities charged with investigating the<br>\naccident have made little headway, and have not even issued a<br>\npreliminary report yet.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, the Asian Wall Street Journal reported that<br>\nthe debt-ridden captain had taken out a last-minute life<br>\ninsurance policy, and that he had tampered with a cockpit tape<br>\nrecording of a previous flight to hide an error.<\/p>",
