        "content": "<p>Rejecting terrorism<\/p>\n<p>From Koran Tempo<\/p>\n<p>The Jakarta regional board of the Indonesian Christian<br>\nIntellectuals Association (PIKI), offering its condolences on the<br>\ndeath of innocent people in the recent incident in Poso, Central<br>\nSulawesi, has issued the following statement.<br>\n* Condemning the perpetrators of the killings, which took place<br>\non Oct. 10 and Oct. 12 in Poso.<br>\n* Regarding the murder as cowardly and inhuman.<br>\n* Appealing to all layers of society in Indonesia, especially in<br>\nPoso, to avoid provocation leading to division between Christians<br>\nand Muslims.<br>\n* Prioritizing and campaigning for peace to respect humanity and<br>\nreject terrorism.<br>\n* Demanding that the police take stern action against and bring<br>\nthe perpetrators to justice.<br>\n* Demanding that the perpetrators using state facilities should<br>\nnot trigger further communal conflict.<br>\n* Calling on the people of Poso and in other parts of Indonesia<br>\nto unite and promote peace.<br>\n* Requesting that religious leaders in Poso preach peace, unity<br>\nand solidarity.<br>\n* Requesting that international agencies assist in promoting<br>\npeace in line with the United Nations' human rights declaration.<\/p>\n<p>PARTAGUTAN SIAHAAN<br>\nPIKI Secretary, Jakarta<\/p>",
