The public can nominate candidates through the official website\nat http:\/\/awards.dpd.go.id. \u201cThrough the DPD RI Awards 2026, the DPD RI\nhopes that more figures who have worked and contributed to society will\nreceive appreciation while becoming an inspiration for other regions,\u201d\nthe DPD stated in an official release on Tuesday (11\/8\/2026). The four\ncategories are: 1. Non-Formal Education Innovator, awarded to\nindividuals dedicated to developing non-formal education and expanding\nlearning opportunities for the community. 2. Health Technology\nInnovator, given to professionals or academics who produce innovations\nin health through clinical or laboratory research, including the\ndiscovery of medicines, therapies, or medical devices that benefit the\npublic. 3. Independent Food Village Activator, aimed at those who\npromote food self-sufficiency by utilising local food potential,\nempowering communities, and strengthening sustainable food security. 4.\nRegional Culture Preservationist, presented to individuals who\ndemonstrate innovation in developing and preserving regional culture and\nactively promote it at national and international levels. The DPD RI\nwill also present Special Recognition Awards to figures, individuals, or\ngroups who have made consistent and sustainable contributions to their\nregions.
