        "content": "<p>The Head of the Domestic Policy Strategy Agency (BSKDN) at the\nMinistry of Home Affairs, Yusharto Huntoyungo, has reminded local\ngovernments to be increasingly responsive in facing the dynamic\nchallenges of unemployment. He conveyed this during the Head of Region\nPresentation event as part of the Appreciation of Local Government\nPerformance in the dimension of reducing unemployment rates, held online\nfrom the BSKDN Command Center in Jakarta on Wednesday (1\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>According to Yusharto, unemployment is not merely a matter of\nstatistical figures, but a reflection of development challenges that\ndirectly impact societal welfare. Therefore, quick, precise policy\nresponses based on real field needs are required.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must realise that the challenges we face are not light. The\ndynamics of the global economy, changes in the labour market structure,\nand technological developments demand that we continuously adapt and\nimprove the quality of our policies,\u201d stated Yusharto.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Yusharto emphasised that local governments have a\nstrategic role as the frontline in designing and implementing\nunemployment handling policies.
