        "content": "<p>TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The Indonesian Regional Investment Forum (IRIF) 2006 is promoting 45 projects in regions valued at US$6.55 billion, or Rp59.6 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>The offered projects include those in tourism, ports, markets, horticulture product processing and industrial regions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUp until now, twelve provinces have registered,\u201d said Chairman of IRIF 2006 Committee Irman Gusman yesterday (11\/1).<\/p>\n<p>Edwin Kawilarang, Deputy Chairman of the IRIF 2006 Committee, said that the forum would not produce any agreements.<\/p>\n<p>The target of the forum was to decrease economic sector decentralization and, in addition, investment permit can be diverted to regions.<\/p>\n<p>So far, investors have been reluctant to enter regions because of unclear regulations.<\/p>\n<p>KURNIASIH BUDI<\/p>",
