Reform and the little people<\/p>\n

The reform generated by students has led the little people to
\nfeel they might expect better days ahead.<\/p>\n
But present conditions have made them doubt what use the
\nreform is. Life is not getting any better, it is even harder now.
\nThe economy has gone awry. The ongoing reform has gone astray.
\nThe reform was heralded by the students with a view to enforcing
\noverall justice and truth. The students wanted the leaders to
\nuphold moral values and to have authority in running the
\ngovernment. Has this been achieved?<\/p>\n
If I am allowed to speak honestly, all that is a nightmare.
\nDamage, destruction, looting, arson and killing. Doesn't that all
\nshow that the actors of reform do not uphold moral values? They
\nlook like barbaric people. If we asked them for their
\naccountability none of them would give it. They would accuse each
\nother. To whom must the little people complain?<\/p>\n
Let us introspect and reflect. A victory with bloodshed and
\ndestruction is not a complete success. With our moral and
\nreligious values we certainly need to carry out the religious
\nprinciples in which we believe. We must realize that the majority
\nof victims are our brothers and sisters of the same faith. It is
\na great sin to shed their blood.<\/p>\n
Let us reflect deeply. Let our conscience speak. Stop less
\nlaudable deeds if we desire to become better men. We all wish a
\nchange but it must benefit all sides. It should not be based on
\nour or our group's dissatisfaction only.<\/p>\n
We want our economy to be restored immediately but we must
\nunderstand that it takes time to do it. Give the Development and
\nReform Cabinet a chance to solve the problems. We need quiet and
\nunity.<\/p>\n
I would like to appeal to experts, religious dignitaries,
\npoliticians, economists and society in general to unite in
\nsolving the problems by clear thinking. Let us support reform as
\ngenerated by students with pure objectives.<\/p>\n
I would ask opportunistic politicians to quit the arena of
\nreform. Their victims are numerous. The people do not trust them
\nany longer and have come to realize that what the opportunists
\nstruggle for is out of individual or group interest.<\/p>\n
We support peaceful reform and we wish to see the eradication
\nof adventurers who only seek benefits from other people's
\nsufferings.<\/p>\n
