The Jagain programme was introduced by Reda Manthovani, Deputy\nAttorney General for Intelligence at the Republic of Indonesia Attorney\nGeneral\u2019s Office, during his speech at the national working meeting\n(rakernas) of NPC Indonesia at the Lorin Hotel in Solo on Tuesday\nafternoon (28\/4\/26).<\/p>\n
Reda Manthovani emphasised the importance of providing accessible\ndata for all provincial administrators, the central NPC Indonesia board,\nand the Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope that NPC Indonesia administrators, from the centre,\nprovinces, and regions, first have a data base, because with a data\nbase, NPC will have strong legal standing in carrying out uniform\nguidance,\u201d said Reda Manthovani.<\/p>\n
In Law No.\u00a016 Article 3 of 2004 on the Prosecutor\u2019s Office, it is\nexplained that through the intelligence sector, it ensures that local\ngovernments provide fair, equal, and inclusive treatment for people with\ndisabilities in accordance with the Asta Cita programme.<\/p>\n
The existence of the Jagain application makes it easier for disabled\nsports participants to report problems or work programmes in their\nareas. NPC Indonesia (central) together with prosecutorial institutions\nfrom the Attorney General\u2019s Office, High Prosecutor\u2019s Offices, and\nDistrict Prosecutor\u2019s Offices can assist in coordination, initial\nidentification of audiences with relevant parties, policy advocacy, and\nsupport for reporting.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat is the basis of the Jaga Inklusi or prosecutor guards\ndisability programme. With this data base, prosecutors in district\nprosecutor\u2019s offices can monitor, for example, people with disabilities\nwho still face discrimination or inequality. Then, interventions can be\ncarried out, requesting local governments to pay attention to disabled\nathletes,\u201d explained Reda Manthovani.<\/p>\n
Reda also believes that this programme will encourage better\ndevelopment of disabled athletes, even though the achievements already\naccomplished are extraordinary. Lastly, Indonesia successfully obtained\n135 golds, 143 silvers, and 114 bronzes at the 2025 ASEAN Para Games,\nfar exceeding the target of 82 gold medals.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe hope is that with attention from respective local governments,\nit will become motivation for athletes in the regions, because what\ndisabled athletes need is more attention. That\u2019s why with JAGAIN, it is\nhoped that local governments can guard disabilities,\u201d stated Reda\nManthovani.<\/p>\n
The programme outlined by Reda Manthovani received appreciation from\nNPC Indonesia provincial administrators. Imam Kuncoro, as the chairman\nof NPC Indonesia for the East Java province region, said the programme\ncould be a solution for the development of disability sports.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn today\u2019s working meeting agenda, we have credible speakers, namely\nfrom the Ministry of Youth and Sports, from the Attorney General\u2019s\nOffice, and also from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Their presence at\nthis Working Meeting is certainly very inspiring to us. And we also\nreally hope that from their regulations, NPC throughout Indonesia will\nbecome great, especially the regulations from Mr Reda Manthovani as the\nrepresentative of the Attorney General\u2019s Office who has given\nextraordinary material,\u201d said Imam Kuncoro.<\/p>\n
Imam also proposed and fully supported Reda Manthovani becoming part\nof the big NPC Indonesia family.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is directly involved in the big NPCI family. And he is ready for\nus as provincial chairmen to make Mr Reda and Mr Attorney General\u2019s\nOffice become administrators and part of the big family in NPCI\nIndonesia,\u201d said Imam Kuncoro.<\/p>\n
The same was expressed by Alex Alua, chairman of NPC Indonesia for\nthe Papua Pegunungan region. He welcomed positively the programmes\npresented at the NPC Indonesia national working meeting.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel grateful because this is the first time we have attended the\nRakernas event in Solo. And there are several presenters who gave very\nextraordinary material for us. Hopefully, after we return to Papua\nPegunungan, we can implement the development programmes according to the\nguidance given in this Rakernas in Solo,\u201d explained Alex Alua.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd we as the administration from DOB (New Autonomous Region) have\nconstraints of lack of training equipment. Earlier, Prof.\u00a0Reda\nManthovani wanted to help with training equipment so it really provides\nfor us. We are ready to train and will contribute to preparing athletes\nthere to participate in international events,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
