This price surge is accompanied by increases in other chilli\nvarieties, with large red chillies priced at Rp60,800 per kg and curly\nred chillies at Rp56,500 per kg. Regarding animal protein, chicken egg\nprices remained stable at Rp29,700 per kg, while premium quality beef\nreached Rp146,300 per kg.<\/p>\n
Other essential commodities such as rice also show varying prices\nbased on quality. Medium-grade rice I is currently averaging Rp16,000\nper kg, while super-grade rice I has surpassed Rp17,100 per kg.\nMeanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil remains high at Rp20,950 per\nlitre.<\/p>\n
Rising prices for kitchen staples, including shallots at Rp56,150 per\nkg and garlic at Rp40,850 per kg, are increasing household expenditure\nburdens.
