Reconstruction of JSX bomb blast<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): The reconstruction of the Sept. 13 bomb blast at
\nthe Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) building in South Jakarta was
\nscheduled to be carried out on Saturday, Jakarta Police
\ndetectives chief Sr. Supt. Harry Montolalu said.<\/p>\n
\"The reconstruction will take place at the auto repair shop
\nand the JSX building,\" Harry said, while referring to the Krung
\nBaro Motor auto repair shop in Ciganjur, South Jakarta, which was
\nallegedly the site for assembling the bomb.<\/p>\n
The police officer was speaking to reporters on the sidelines
\nof a meeting between Jakarta Police chief Insp. Gen. Mulyono
\nSulaiman and executives of the Jakarta office of the Indonesian
\nJournalists Association (PWI).<\/p>\n
Harry, however, did not elaborate on the time for the
\nreconstruction.<\/p>\n
He said it would involve four main suspects in the Sept. 13
\nbombing, which killed at least 11 people, injured dozens others
\nand damaged some 200 vehicles.<\/p>\n
Police had earlier named four men, identified as Tengku
\nIsmuhadi, Ibrahim A. Manaf, Ibrahim Hasan and Irwan, as the main
\nsuspects of the bombing.<\/p>\n
The first two, who are civilians, had acted as the planners
\nand controllers of the bombing, while the other two, who are
\nmilitary personnel, were operators who assembled and planted the
\nbomb at the JSX building, police said.<\/p>\n
Harry said the police had asked for expert assistance from
\npublicly listed state-owned telecommunication company PT. Telkom
\nto prove that several minutes before the blast, the four suspects
\nwere communicating to each other via cellular phone near the JSX
\nbuilding.<\/p>\n
Harry also said that the suspects had admitted that they were
\nat the scene shortly after the bomb exploded to see if their plan
\nhad been executed as planned.<\/p>\n
\"They were there among other spectators who came to the JSX
\nbuilding (to see what happened),\" Harry said.<\/p>\n
Police have earlier said that the suspects of the JSX bombing
\nwere members of a group that had a wide network and which had
\ncarried out several bombings in many areas in the country. (jaw)<\/p>",
