        "content": "<p>Recommendation revoked<\/p>\n<p>From Merdeka<\/p>\n<p>The Board of Executives of the Association of Indonesian<br>\nJournalists (PWI Jaya) Jakarta, in its March 20, 1995 meeting,<br>\ndecided that its recommendation once given to Goenawan Mohamad to<br>\nbecome Chief Editor of Swasembada weekly is null and void,<br>\nbecause his membership of PWI Jaya was dropped.<\/p>\n<p>This decision was taken as a follow-up to the decision made on<br>\nMarch 17, 1995 when the Association announced that the PWI<br>\nmembership of 13 journalists who signed the Sinargalih<br>\nDeclaration on Aug. 7, 1994 was null and void, in which Goenawan<br>\nMohamad is included.<\/p>\n<p>The publisher of Swasembada accepted the decision and would<br>\nsoon propose other candidate to replace Goenawan Mohamad.<\/p>\n<p>MARAH SAKTI SIREGAR<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Secretary<\/p>\n<p>PWI Jaya,Jakarta<\/p>",
