Reckless bus driver sought<\/p>\n
TANGERANG (JP): Local police here are still trying to trace
\nthe whereabouts of the Primajasa bus driver who managed to escape
\nafter his packed bus overturned on the Kebon Jeruk-Tangerang toll
\nroad on Sunday in an accident which killed six passengers and
\ninjured many others.<\/p>\n
Tangerang Police Detectives Chief Capt. Edy Setyobudi said on
\nSunday the reckless driver, identified as Anton Siregar, hastily
\nleft the site after his speeding bus hit the toll road's fence
\nand overturned.<\/p>\n
\"We hope the driver will surrender himself before police
\nofficers take stern action because he is responsible for the
\naccident,\" Edy said.<\/p>\n
The officer said the driver should be processed in accordance
\nwith the existing laws for his mistake that cost the lives of six
\npassengers and injured 20 others.<\/p>\n
\"The driver should have asked for police help instead of
\nescaping from the scene,\" he added.<\/p>\n
Among the dead in the 5 p.m. accident on Saturday is a
\npregnant woman, identified as Sukati of Lampung, southern
\nSumatra.<\/p>\n
The other five bodies were identified as Samijan, Lintang,
\nApeng Sutisna, Jakson Sakam and Hotda Sagala.<\/p>\n
The accident occurred at kilometer 13 when the driver of the
\npacked bus -- heading to Balaraja in Tangerang from Kampung
\nRambutan, East Jakarta -- lost control of the vehicle after
\nattempting to overtake a car from the left.<\/p>\n
The slick road surface led to the bus overturning, trapping
\nall the occupants inside.<\/p>\n
As of Sunday, dozens of people had visited the Tangerang
\nGeneral Hospital's morgue to identify the bodies.<\/p>\n
\"We came here to identify the bodies. Who knows if they are
