Reasserting our will
\nto resolve problems<\/p>\n

While we do not yet possess complete facts about the recent
\nbomb blast in front of the Australian Embassy in Kuningan and
\ntherefore cannot identify a plausible suspect, one thing is
\nobvious -- our country is within the sphere of terrorism and
\nconsequently, we must be extremely vigilant.<\/p>\n
In my opinion, we must react on two planes. First, the
\nauthorities must probe into this terrorist act and uncover its
\nroots. Second, we must strengthen our consensus because 99.99
\npercent of us Indonesians really wish to solve our problems in a
\npeaceful and inclusive manner through dialog.<\/p>\n
Most ethnic and religious groups are in no way connected to
\nterrorism, although it is true that prolonged discontent might
\ncause a small group in society to resort to terrorism.<\/p>\n
Today, we must work together to isolate terrorists in society.
\nFor this, we must renew our determination to solve our problems
\n-- no matter how difficult they may be -- in a peaceful, open and
\ninclusive manner, through dialog.<\/p>\n
