This appeal is intended to prevent traffic density during the peak\nreturn period. The recommendation was conveyed by the Director General\nof Land Transportation, Aan Suhanan, while monitoring the security for\nthe night of Takbiran for Eid al-Fitr 1447 H at Polda Metro Jaya. To\nprevent a buildup of travellers on those dates, the government is\nproviding safer and smoother return travel options by utilising 25, 26,\nand 27 March. Aan emphasised that this appeal is purely aimed at easing\nvehicle density. With a more even distribution of journeys, road\nconditions are expected to be more conducive, allowing the return flow\nto proceed smoothly. He also mentioned that the National Traffic Corps\nhas prepared several traffic engineering scenarios to anticipate surges\nin vehicle volume.
