This achievement\nequates to 24.4% of the total annual target set at Rp2.041.3 trillion.\nAlthough nominal figures have increased, the year-on-year growth rate\nhas slowed to 7.2% compared to the previous period\u2019s 15.9%. Geopolitical\ndynamics and global economic uncertainty pose the main challenges\naffecting the pace of business expansion. However, positive news comes\nfrom the job absorption side, which has surged sharply by 18.9%\nyear-on-year. A total of 706,569 people have been absorbed into various\nnew job sectors over the first three months of this year. \u201cAmid global\nchallenges, both geopolitical and geoeconomic, the investment target for\nthe first quarter of 2026 has been met and slightly exceeded\nexpectations,\u201d stated Rosan Roeslani on Thursday (23\/4). The composition\nof investment is still dominated by Foreign Direct Investment (PMA),\ncontributing Rp250.0 trillion or 50.1% of the total realisation.\nSingapore, Hong Kong, and China remain the top three countries providing\nthe largest capital inflows domestically.
