The rat had already\neaten some of the boxes.<\/p>\n<p>The video became viral after being uploaded by an Instagram account,\n<span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"dinaskegelapan_kotasemarang\">@dinaskegelapan_kotasemarang<\/span>.\nIn the video, several female students in the class were briefly panicked\nupon seeing the rat emerge from the MBG transport box used for meal\ndistribution.<\/p>\n<p>When contacted for confirmation, Dian Nirmala Santi, a student\naffairs staff member at SMKN 8 Semarang, verified the incident. She\nexplained that it began with a report from Year 11 students at SMKN 8\nSemarang on Tuesday (31\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInitially, a student reported a rat emerging from the MBG box via a\nvideo in the group chat. The rat was also caught,\u201d said Dian via text\nmessage, as reported by detikJateng.<\/p>\n<p>She stated that the school requested the return of one box containing\n35 meal packages to the nutrition fulfilment service unit (SPPG).\nHowever, before it was retrieved, it was discovered that some of the\nfood in the box had already been consumed by students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe students came down carrying the box and the captured rat.\nHowever, it turned out that some had already been eaten,\u201d she\nexplained.<\/p>\n<p>Hanung Triyono, Secretary of the Central Java MBG Acceleration Team,\nalso confirmed the incident. He emphasised that the complaint received\nwas not about a rat inside the meal packages, but inside the delivery\nbox.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe complaint that came to our field assistant was not about finding\na rat in the meal package, but in the box,\u201d said Hanung via text message\nto detikJateng.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the report he received from the relevant SPPG, the entire\nbox of 35 MBG packages was immediately withdrawn and replaced with a new\none.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe school has received it and expressed their thanks,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
