        "content": "<p>PT Nindya Karya\u2019s chief commissioner, Michael Umbas, conducted field\nvisits to two Sekolah Rakyat (People\u2019s Schools) sites in North Sumatra \u2014\nin Deli Serdang and Medan \u2014 on Tuesday 19 May to ensure that works are\nprogressing as planned and to motivate the project teams on the ground.\nIn his briefing, he expressed appreciation for the progress achieved on\nthe Sekolah Rakyat in North Sumatra, noting the hard work, coordination\nand high commitment across the entire project team.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed the importance of maintaining the pace of construction,\nstrengthening cross\u2011sector coordination, and ensuring that quality and\nsafety remain top priorities until project completion.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, Umbas praised the progress at the Medan site as highly\nsignificant and even a national benchmark: all roofing has been\ninstalled, most of the flooring is finished, ceilings are underway, and\nthe project is now in the final stages of MEP work \u2014 described as\nphenomenal.<\/p>\n<p>According to the M23 progress report, the overall North Sumatra SR\nprogramme is progressing positively and ahead of targets. At the\nlocation level, Medan has reached 73.21% of a target of 51.42%; Deli\nSerdang 55.22% of 50.74%; Serdang Bedagai 53.71% of 50.93%; South\nTapanuli 51.90% of 43.17%; and Padang Sidempuan 57.03% of 50.07%.<\/p>\n<p>Umbas indicated that these results demonstrate healthy acceleration\nand must be maintained through completion. \u201cThe most important thing is\nnot only to finish quickly, but also to ensure the quality of the\nbuildings, the functionality of the facilities, and that benefits are\ntruly felt by communities.
