National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo conducted a\nRamadan safari together with religious scholars, officials, and\ncommunity members in Central Java. This activity served as a moment to\nstrengthen bonds between the National Police (Polri), religious leaders,\nand society during the holy month.<\/p>\n
General Sigit and his delegation arrived at Central Java Regional\nPolice Headquarters (Mapolda Jateng) in Semarang on Monday, 16 March\n2026 in the afternoon, accompanied by hadrah chanting. The National\nPolice Chief\u2019s arrival was warmly received at the location.<\/p>\n
In attendance were Central Java Provincial Secretary Sumarno and the\nRegional Leaders\u2019 Forum (Forkopimda) of Central Java, including Central\nJava Regional Police Chief Irjen Ribut Hari Wibowo, Commander of\nDiponegoro Military Command IV Mayjen Achiruddin Darojat, and Central\nJava Regional Legislative Assembly Chair Sumanto. Also present were\nreligious leaders, community figures, university rectors, trade union\nand labour leaders, civil society organisations, students, and online\nmotorcycle taxi communities.<\/p>\n
Accompanying the National Police Chief during this Ramadan safari\nwere several senior police officials, including Chief of Intelligence\nand Security Komjen Yuda Gustawan, Deputy Chief of Operations Komjen\nMohamad Fadil Imran, Human Resources Deputy Irjen Anwar, Public\nRelations Deputy Irjen Johnny Eddizon Isir, and Traffic Commander Irjen\nAgus Suryonugroho.<\/p>\n
The event began with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem,\nfollowed by Qur\u2019anic recitation. After Central Java Regional Police\nChief Irjen Ribut delivered remarks, the National Police Chief\nsymbolically distributed charity to representatives of orphans. A total\nof 150 aid packages were prepared as a gesture of care and celebration\nduring Ramadan.<\/p>\n
\u201cToday we have been accompanied by senior officials from National\nPolice Headquarters in conducting this communal breaking of the fast in\nCentral Java, and alhamdulillah we have been able to meet with all of\nyou, which is certainly part of our efforts to maintain the bonds of\nbrotherhood that have been built,\u201d said the National Police Chief.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur hope during Ramadan, in this month full of blessings, is\ncertainly that synergy, brotherhood, and warmth during this holy month\nfurther strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among all of us,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>\n
Following the National Police Chief\u2019s remarks, the event continued\nwith a religious sermon delivered by KH Achmad Chalwani. As the time for\nbreaking the fast approached, KH Abdul Ghafar Rozin led the\nbreaking-of-the-fast prayer, followed by a communal meal.<\/p>\n
