The\nheinous act was allegedly perpetrated by a man with the initials TH over\na period of three years. According to the legislator from the West Java\nII electoral district, this case has shaken the sense of humanity among\nthe Indonesian public, particularly in West Java. \u201cI strongly condemn\nthe inhumane actions of the suspect TH, who confined a woman for three\nyears and tortured her. This act is extremely vile and cannot be\ntolerated in a state of law that upholds human dignity,\u201d Rajiv asserted\nin a written statement on Tuesday. Rajiv urged the state to provide\nmaximum protection for the victim. He also pressed the police to\nimmediately arrest the perpetrator so that the legal process can be\ncarried out swiftly and transparently. \u201cI am asking the police to deploy\nall their best capabilities to immediately arrest the perpetrator. The\nwanted list status that has been issued must be followed up immediately\nwith an arrest so that the perpetrator has no room to escape or destroy\nevidence,\u201d he stated.
