"summary": "Following the derailment of the Bangunkarta train at Bumiayu Station in Brebes, Central Java, on 6 April 2026, the railway line was fully restored by early 7 April after evacuation and repairs by PT Kereta Api Indonesia's Daop 5 Purwokerto team, allowing normal operations to resume without rerouting via northern lines. The incident led to the cancellation of two trains in Daop 4 Semarang, affecting 521 passengers who received full ticket refunds, while 10 buses were deployed to evacuate passengers from the derailed train.
