        "content": "<p>Quick return of students sought<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Minister of Foreign Affairs Hassan Wirayuda said on<br>\nFriday that the deportation of the six Indonesian students held<br>\nin Pakistan should be concluded before the planned Dec. 14 visit<br>\nof President Megawati Soekarnoputri to that country.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We hope these students will return home early next week<br>\nbefore the President&apos;s visit, because we do not wish to have the<br>\nissue overshadow the purpose of the visit,&quot; Hassan said.<\/p>\n<p>Six Indonesian students were arrested by Pakistani authorities<br>\nin September, and the ensuing investigation has found that they<br>\nwere involved in terrorist activities. Their activities did not<br>\nhave targets in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta has decided to send a joint team comprising foreign<br>\nministry officials and national police to bring the students home<br>\nfor further investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Megawati is slated to embark on a four-day state visit to<br>\nPakistan on Dec. 14, following a tour to Japan and China. -- JP<\/p>",
