        "content": "<p>Efforts to strengthen national technological sovereignty have entered\na new chapter after PT Nusantara Quantum Intelligence (NQI) entered into\na strategic collaboration worth multiple millions of US dollars with\nStarWiz Technology Co, Ltd, a leading deep-tech company based in\nBeijing, China. The cooperation is focused on the development of quantum\ncomputing, photonic technology, and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)\nsatellite ecosystems, which are considered to be an important foundation\nfor Indonesia\u2019s future technological independence. The agreement, signed\nby NQI CEO and Founder Walter Kaminski in Beijing, represents a\nstrategic step to strengthen Indonesia\u2019s capacity in developing\nhigh-tech technologies that have so far been dominated by developed\ncountries. The collaboration also combines the strengths of each\ncompany. StarWiz brings experience in advanced software development,\nartificial intelligence (AI), as well as cloud and edge computing for\nprocessing high-resolution satellite data on a large scale. Meanwhile,\nNQI focuses on developing photonic technology and radar satellite\necosystems capable of supporting real-time area monitoring with a high\ndegree of accuracy. According to Walter Kaminski, this cooperation is\nnot merely about developing technology products, but is also part of a\nstrategy to build national capacity in facing global technological\ncompetition. \u201cThe collaboration with StarWiz Technology Co Ltd is a real\nacceleration for our grand vision. From the perspective of technological\nsovereignty, Walter emphasised that this cooperation is considered\nimportant because it is not only oriented towards technology\nutilisation, but also knowledge transfer and strengthening domestic\nhuman resources. \u201cThrough various training programmes, technical\nworkshops, and joint development, Indonesian technology talent will gain\ndirect access to mastering quantum, photonic, and next-generation\nsatellite technology,\u201d he said. In the initial phase, NQI and StarWiz\nwill run a pilot project integrating photonic technology and SAR data\nprocessing, develop a product roadmap for the regional market, and\nconduct field trials to ensure operational readiness before the\nsolutions are widely implemented. Walter added that this collaboration\nsignals that Indonesia is beginning to take more aggressive steps in\nbuilding independence in the strategic technology sector. \u201cAmid\nincreasingly tight global competition, mastery of quantum, photonic, and\nsatellite technology is considered to be one of the main keys in\nstrengthening technological sovereignty and national competitiveness in\nthe future,\u201d he concluded.
