"summary": "Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesman has denied severing communication lines with Iran, though contact has been minimal since late February when US-Israeli military operations triggered Iranian counter-attacks across the Middle East. The escalation has left only one telephone conversation between the foreign ministers of both countries, with Qatar shifting focus from its previous mediator role to addressing threats to its own territory.",
