At Hamad International Airport, affected passengers are being\nassisted by additional ground staff deployed to handle the situation.\nQatar Airways has put in place all necessary arrangements to ensure that\nefforts undertaken minimise passenger inconvenience during the\ndisruption.<\/p>\n

According to Al Jazeera, at least eight countries have announced\nairspace closures following the outbreak of the conflict on Saturday (28\nFebruary 2026). These countries include Iran, Israel, Iraq, Jordan,\nQatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates. Syria has also\nannounced that it has closed part of its southern airspace along its\nborder with Israel for 12 hours.<\/p>\n
As countries in the region have closed their airspace, several\naircraft have been forced to divert their flight routes around Larnaca,\nJeddah, Cairo, and Riyadh.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran, with\nexplosions heard and seen across Tehran and other areas of the country.\nSeveral missiles have struck roads in the Jomhouri district of Tehran.\nSmoke was even seen billowing over the city.<\/p>\n
