        "content": "<p>Putra Surya rated AAA<\/p>\n<p>HONG KONG (Reuters): Standard &amp; Poor&apos;s said yesterday it had<br>\nassigned its AAA rating to Indonesian Motor Vehicle Funding 1997-<br>\n1 Ltd.&apos;s US$177.6 million guaranteed asset-backed floating-rate<br>\nnotes due 2001.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first securitisation of motorcycle and light<br>\ncommercial vehicle loans by Indonesian finance company PT Putra<br>\nSurya Multidana (PSM).<\/p>\n<p>It involves the sale of loans by PSM to Indonesian Motor<br>\nVehicle Funding 1997-1, a special-purpose, bankruptcy-remote<br>\nentity incorporated in the Cayman Islands, S&amp;P said.<\/p>\n<p>S&amp;P said the AAA rating reflects its assessment of the<br>\nlikelihood of timely payment of interest and repayment of<br>\nprincipal based on the financial guarantee insurance policy<br>\nprovided by U.S. bond insurer Financial Security Assurance.<\/p>",
