        "content": "<p>President Vladimir Putin of Russia has signed the law ratifying the\nFree Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and\nIndonesia. The Russian Embassy in Jakarta announced the information on\nits social media account on Tuesday, 26 May. The implementation of the\nIndonesia-EAEU free trade agreement was previously discussed by the\nIndonesian and Russian governments during a joint commission meeting in\nKazan on 13 May. According to Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs\nAirlangga Hartarto, the agreement will provide broader market access for\nIndonesia\u2019s key products in the EAEU market, including palm oil and its\nderivatives, coffee, cocoa, fishery products, textiles, footwear, and\nfurniture. \u2018Indonesia views Russia as a strategic partner in the\nEurasian region. This meeting marks a significant moment to strengthen\nexisting cooperation and advance priority agenda items between the two\nnations,\u2019 Airlangga said after meeting with Russian First Deputy Prime\nMinister Denis Manturov. The free trade agreement was signed on 21\nDecember 2025. The cooperation encompasses all EAEU member states:\nRussia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. According to\nRussian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, as reported by Sputnik, the\nagreement establishes a preferential trade regime for the majority of\nproducts.
