This year, the price of a chicken went up to Rp 30,000 and
\nchilies reached Rp 25,000 per kg.<\/p>\n

Nonfood products have also increased in price. It is customary
\nthat once prices have increased they will remain high, and often
\ndo not return to their former level.<\/p>\n

I appeal to traders to mark down prices to regular rates.
\nProfits in the short term are alluring, but in the long run there
\nis no benefit from them because they entail inflation. Everybody,
\nincluding the traders, will suffer losses.<\/p>\n

It is hoped the authorities will be able to control the price
\nincreases because tensions will easily lead to bigger losses in
