        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that\nhe has presented Indonesia\u2019s economic and fiscal fundamentals to the\ninternational rating agency S&amp;P Global Ratings during a meeting held\non Wednesday (3\/6).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEssentially, we explained our position as thoroughly as possible, so\nthat they understand the nature of our economic foundation,\u201d Purbaya\ntold reporters at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>One of the key points conveyed by the government was the commitment\nto keeping the State Budget (APBN) deficit below 3 per cent of Gross\nDomestic Product (GDP). The Finance Minister also outlined the measures\nbeing taken to maintain this deficit level for the current and upcoming\nyear.<\/p>\n<p>Purbaya noted that tax revenues have shown significant growth. In May\n2026, tax revenue grew by 22.1 per cent compared to the same period last\nyear. He assessed that this development serves as a positive signal for\nIndonesia\u2019s fiscal condition amidst global economic challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, that is one encouraging aspect. That is what I communicated to\nthem,\u201d he added.<\/p>",
