        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has\nguaranteed that the state budget (APBN) deficit will remain under\ncontrol until the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Purbaya stated during a press conference monitored online in Jakarta\non Tuesday that budget management continues to be maintained\nconsistently, ensuring the APBN has room to cushion against global\neconomic turbulence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur calculations indicate that even with an average of 100 US\ndollars until the end of the year, our budget remains sustainable and\nthe deficit is still under control,\u201d said Purbaya.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, he urged the public not to worry about the potential\nwidening of the APBN deficit.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the government outlined several scenarios on the impact\nof rising global oil prices on the APBN.<\/p>\n<p>In the first scenario, the Indonesian Crude Price (ICP) is estimated\nto be around 86 US dollars per barrel, with the rupiah exchange rate at\napproximately Rp17,000 per US dollar, weaker than the APBN assumption of\nRp16,500 per US dollar.<\/p>\n<p>With economic growth of 5.3 percent and government securities yields\naround 6.8 percent, the APBN deficit is projected to reach 3.18\npercent.<\/p>",
