Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has
claimed that the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara)
has already prepared allocations of state-owned enterprise (SOE)
dividends that will become fiscal reserves for the government.

However, his office still needs to discuss the allocation of these
SOE dividends with BPI Danantara. He also confirmed that the handover of
these fiscal reserves will be decided this year.

“It is still being discussed with Mr Rosan. It will be decided this
year, he said. The funds are already available, but they are still being
discussed,” he explained.

As is known, since the establishment of Danantara, the government has
decided to divert SOE dividends from the Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP)
account for Separated State Assets (KND) to Danantara.

However, in accordance with the President’s directive, a portion of
Danantara’s profits must be set aside as reserves for state finances. In
fact, according to Purbaya, these SOE dividends are expected to reduce
the need for new debt.

“There is an idea from the President to place a portion of
Danantara’s profits as government reserves, so that it can also reduce
our debt,” said Purbaya.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto stated that he had received a
report that the revenue of the Danantara Investment Management Agency
(BPI) had surged by up to 400%.

This achievement was attained within just one year of Danantara’s
launch in 2025. The President requested that the revenue figure be
verified through a comprehensive audit.

“In one year of Danantara’s operation, I received a report that the
revenue or income from Danantara has risen by 400%, more or less. This
must continue to be audited, and we must continue to check it. But even
if it is not 400%, even 300% or 200%, this is still a very significant
increase in one year of work,” said Prabowo during his remarks.

Currently, Danantara holds total SOE assets of approximately US$1,000
billion, equivalent to Rp17,800 trillion. Danantara is targeted to
generate a minimum profit of Rp800 trillion (US$50 billion) per year for
the state treasury.
",
