        "content": "<p>Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa conducted a visit to the\nTiffany &amp; Co outlet in Plaza Indonesia to ensure the resumption of\nits operations. As previously reported, Tiffany &amp; Co had committed\ncustoms violations involving the importation of goods that had not been\ndeclared and for which customs obligations had not been settled.<\/p>\n<p>Following these violations, the Directorate General of Customs and\nExcise conducted a customs audit and issued a Customs Assessment Letter\namounting to Rp97.49 billion, which includes an administrative fine of\nRp78.50 billion. The management of Tiffany &amp; Co has expressed its\nreadiness to fulfil these obligations, including the payment of the\nadministrative sanctions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe party concerned has committed to complying with all applicable\nlaws and regulations,\u201d stated Purbaya.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, Purbaya emphasised that the government consistently\nprioritises the principles of compliance, transparency, and\naccountability in its supervisory functions. \u201cThese efforts are\nundertaken to create a healthy business climate, providing certainty and\nbusiness continuity for all business actors in order to support the\nnational economy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Finance Minister also urged all business actors to consistently\nfulfil their obligations and adhere to the provisions established under\nthe prevailing laws and regulations. He stressed that compliance is a\nvital foundation for creating a transparent and competitive business\necosystem. The government will continue to conduct consistent\nsupervision while encouraging all business entities to maintain\ncompliance with legal regulations.<\/p>",
