Among the attending investors were HSBC Global\nAsset Management, Lazard AM, BlackRock, Lord Abbett, and TD Asset\nManagement. The Finance Minister noted that these global investors are\ninterested in placing capital in Indonesia but sought confirmation on\nthe current investment comfort level. Therefore, Purbaya outlined\nIndonesia\u2019s fundamental policies to assure investors that the country\noffers a promising economic landscape for investment. \u201cSo they (the\ninvestors) are not in doubt; they just heard noise that our fiscal\nsituation is problematic, and they wanted to confirm that it is not\ntrue,\u201d he said.
