        "content": "<p>PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) has secured multiple awards at the 2026\nBUMN Excellence Awards ceremony, demonstrating its commitment to\nstrengthening industrial efficiency and good corporate governance (GCG).\nThe company\u2019s Chief Executive Officer Rahmad Pribadi was recognised as\nThe Best CEO Visionary Leadership, whilst the corporation received four\nadditional accolades: First Prize for Best Growth Strategy, First Prize\nfor Best Strategic Collaboration, and Second Prize for Best Corporate\nOrganisation Transformation.<\/p>\n<p>Rahmad stated that business transformation is essential to sustaining\ncompany performance and strengthening the fertiliser sector\u2019s\ncontribution to national food security. He emphasised that\ntransformation through factory revitalisation and improved governance\nrepresents the foundation for maintaining company performance and\nsupporting Indonesia\u2019s food self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Under Rahmad\u2019s leadership, the company is implementing strategic\ninitiatives to enhance efficiency and production optimisation, including\na programme to develop and revitalise seven factories over the next five\nyears, whilst maintaining security of raw material supplies and\nstrengthening fertiliser distribution networks across Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The company is preparing new business ventures, including expansion\nof methanol product portfolios and derivatives, clean ammonia\ndevelopment, and strengthening of the industrial support sector. These\ninitiatives support more effective management of subsidised national\nfertiliser in both production and distribution.<\/p>\n<p>These efforts align with the implementation of Presidential\nRegulation Number 113 of 2026, which refined Presidential Regulation\nNumber 6 of 2025 concerning subsidised fertiliser governance. Through\nimproved efficiency, the government achieved a historic reduction in\nsubsidised fertiliser retail prices of 20 per cent in October 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s success in balancing business growth with its\ngovernment mandate to ensure subsidised fertiliser availability for\nfarmers contributed to Pupuk Indonesia receiving the Best Growth\nStrategy award.<\/p>\n<p>For the Best Strategic Collaboration category, Pupuk Indonesia was\nrecognised for establishing global partnerships to strengthen the\ncompetitiveness of Indonesia\u2019s fertiliser industry. Key collaborations\ninclude working with PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad to strengthen urea\nand ammonia supply chains, and partnering with Somiphos of Algeria to\nreinforce phosphate raw material supplies.<\/p>\n<p>Pupuk Indonesia actively participates in global industry forums,\nincluding serving as a permanent board member of the International\nFertiliser Association and participating in international forums such as\nthe Argus Fertiliser Asia Conference and the Conference of the Parties\n(COP).<\/p>\n<p>The Best Corporate Organisation Transformation award recognised the\ncompany\u2019s success in executing organisational transformation and\ndeveloping human resources sustainably. Through these programmes, the\ncompany seeks to build an adaptive, innovative workplace culture with\nglobal competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p>Several Pupuk Indonesia subsidiaries also received awards at the\nceremony. PT Petrokimia Gresik\u2019s Chief Executive Officer Daconi Khotob\nreceived the Best CEO Visionary Leadership award for BUMN subsidiaries.\nPT Petrokimia Gresik and PT Pupuk Kujang received the Best Company\nGrowth Strategy award, whilst PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur won the Best\nCompany Business Innovation award.<\/p>\n<p>Rahmad affirmed that these awards serve as motivation for the company\nto continue enhancing efficiency and strengthening governance.
