Pulogadung priciest plant site<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Pulogadung in East Jakarta is currently the most
\nexpensive area in Greater Jakarta to locate a factory.<\/p>\n
Prices range from US$207 to $220 per square meter, while areas
\nin Bekasi and Tangerang range from $45 to $100 per square meter,
\na monthly property report said.<\/p>\n
The June report of property consultant PT Colliers Jardine
\nIndonesia's also concluded that for the past year foreign
\ninvestors have been increasingly seeking small sites of 0.5 to
\ntwo-hectare plots.<\/p>\n
Demand has also soared for leased plants, which go for $42 to
\n$96 per square meter. Warehouses are leased at $36 to $48 per
\nsquare meter.<\/p>\n
\"The number of ready-for-use factory buildings is still
\nlimited,\" the Jakarta Property Market Review said.<\/p>\n
The report noted additional sites include the 1,000-hectare
\nSuryacipta industrial town, 55 kilometers east of the capital.<\/p>\n
According to plans, 470 hectares of the plot will be reserved
\nfor factories, with prices from $50 to $55 per square meter.<\/p>\n
Another site under construction, the Karawang 2000 industrial
\nzone, will cover 250 hectares. A square meter will sell for $45
